Carol singing at All Saints', in aid of Myton Hospices.
Yesterday, All Saints' hosted the annual carols concert in aid of the Myton Hospices. The choir joined with the congregation to sing traditional carols, as well as performing some choral favourites, such as Darke's "In the bleak midwinter" and Tavener's "The Lamb".
Mulled wine and homemade mince pies were enjoyed during the interval and the choir ended with an encore of "We wish you a merry Christmas". The evening was compered by Assistant Chaplain to the Hospice Revd Alison Hampton. The organ was played by Simon Tayton, with trumpet accompaniment by Emily Stewart-White.
