The Friends of All Saints' Parish Church, Leamington Spa
The new, independent charity for those who would like to secure the future of this lovely building, without necessarily wanting to take part in church life.
When you picture Royal Leamington Spa, what do you see? When asked, many people would say the iconic Parish Church.
Its architectural and historical presence is widely appreciated and many would like to see the building restored to its former glory. Some do this as members of the congregation but others may wish to support just the building. The objective of the Friends of All Saints' Church is to help safeguard and support the building so that it continues to be an asset for the town for generations to come.
Every parish church relies on its congregation and local community to fund repairs and maintenance. There is no central pot. Additional funding can only be obtained through very competitive grant applications, the results of which are not guaranteed. And the immense size of our building - in many ways, such an asset - means we have more of a challenge than most.
The Friends of All Saints' Parish Church aims to raise funds, assist with grant applications, and widen the circle of people dedicated to keeping this iconic landmark alive.
See the video here to understand why Friends are needed. And please contact us if you are interested in helping. Thank you.
