In 1982, the pneumatic action was electrified, and a number of tonal alterations made, including the disconnection of the Solo department, creation of the Bombarde Organ from some of the Great reeds plus a new Mounted Comet, and the Positive Organ from the former Choir Organ. Four new keyboards were provided in 2001, when the compass reduced from 61 to 58 notes. The full complement of divisional and general pistons and a microprocessor capture system were installed at the same time.
