An intrepid group of choir members braved the rain (which never arrived) to spend the afternoon sharing the Christmas story through well-loved carols at Hatton Country Park.
Ten of us sang for the first hour, to the clear appreciation of many of the people there. Following a break, seven of us continued until well after darkness. A nearby stallholder then rewarded us with spiced apple juice and mince pies, despite having heard 'Away in a Manger' rather more times than we care to remember.
All in all, an enjoyable afternoon, and some funds raised too. Thanks to all concerned.
